Precise (+-2cm) indoor navigation system for robots

Hello guys,

We have a precise (+-2cm) indoor navigation system (Indoor "GPS") that is designed to provide real-time location coordinates for autonomous robots, vehicles.

Demo how it works:
- https://youtu.be/ttOKjmNtpRE - a mobile beacon is traced in real time in small room
- https://youtu.be/PFgNPkLGCDk - a large scale (up 30 meters between beacons) demo

Basics: You have stationary beacons (not Bluetooth or WiFi) every 10-50 meters. And you trace a mobile beacon on your robot with +-2cm precision. You get the coordinates either directly from the beacon on your robot via USB or UART or SPI or I2C; or you can get data from the central controller - it is up to you - epending on preferences of your system.

Interesting idea.

I can see uses for delivery services in a large facility. Send a robot down to room 303. Or for an automated mower for outdoors. Both would need other intelligence, but they would always know where they were.

That is exactly what it is designed for. And that is what our customers are using it for.

This particular system is made for indoor, since it doesn't have protection against rain, etc. But for large indoor spaces (factories, hospitals, shopping malls, museums, airports, etc.) it suits very well.
