Hello forum,

The idea is to make a list of the best robot films of all time, it doesn't matter the year, country or language they were made in. Let's try to keep this "non-redundant" we wouldn't want 100 entries saying Terminator 2

.

Here are a few that I like:

I,Robot
2001: A Space Odyssey
Transformers (first was good, second: plot-less)
Wall-E
The Terminator series

Can we count the Star Wars movies? I mean we cant forget about R2D2, C-3PO, or the droids! =).

Just looked at the trailer for that, it looks amazing! Im going to get it now

Don't for get "Not Quite Human" from the 80's I guess technically he is an android but that counts in my book.

My personal and all-time favourite are I.Robot, Real Steel and Wall-e. However this list at Ranker pretty much sums up best robot movies ever made.

I found "Robot and Frank" to be interesting. And, a lot closer to what might come to be.

My favorites are the Drones from the movie Silent Running, and I am fortunate enough to have Dewey (Drone 1)

I realize this is an old topic, but I'm new and I can't hold this in…

Besides I, Robot being my #1 favorite, my next two favorite robot movies are CHAPPiE and Big Hero 6. Right now these three are at the top of my personal list. Of course I have more, but to avoid writing too much here, I can share my other favorites and my thoughts on those later...

But, I can't leave out The Iron Giant. That has a special place in my heart.
