I've looked around and read the tutorials, googled, youtubed..etc. Looking for some direction on where to begin an undertaking with and existing XYZ gantry setup that was given to me free
. The goal is to pick up small components from point A and place to B, and then to C.
What I have to work with are three linear stages with 9 pin connectors coming off of each and headed to an old ISA card. I am assuming that these are running the power and signal to the motors (I left my notes at work as far as the motor mfg.).
I've been trying to find an easy way of controlling these motors. I will be doing all of my control via Labview or VEE Pro. But every controller I seem to find is a breadboard mock up that someone made themselves.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
