Are Servos Powerful

im an avid doctor who fan and im planning to build a 1/4 size dalek out of MDF anf HDF. i am planning to build a traingular base with RC to mount it on but i need to know whether servos are powerful enough (then which ones) or if i will need to use DC motors.

some servos are pretty powerful, but they can also get expensive... for something of the size and weight you are looking for, I would go with DC motors.

4 kgf / cm is quite a good amnt its like 40 N/cm so it will work

im probably loking to spend £20 or servos (2 of them) and one cheap one to turn the front wheel for steering

Maybe think abut using some light plastic to construct it with so it isnt too heavy. hdpe is as easy as machining mdf
