dont forget that you can also make a silk screen type layer simply by ironing on a sil screen design after etching...

u know it's much easier to download FreePCB and use http://www.apcircuits.com/ . they're the cheapest and easiest place i found to use . they do the drilling and hole tinning and everything . a decent sized board can cost $10-$15 canadian dollars . and they have a next day shipping . :)

A lot of detail on this (and sending the boards out to be made). Uses Eagle which is a pretty good package. I used to make my own but now I just send them off.

i'm using eagle right now to try to do the $50 robot board. It kind of bad.

You can use WellPCB (https://www.wellpcb.com/)'s circuit board to make your robot circuit board. They are holding a $ 5 promotion and it's a great deal!
