It is true, I'll spend my days on a warm tropical beach, drinking my yummy Thai tea, making lots of cool robots, all while simultaneously checking out the beautiful local beach girls. Such is my new life! :P
But don't worry, when I'm not making videos (http://www.youtube.com/learnthaiculture) and writing for my other website (http://www.learnthaiculture.com), I'll still be online on SoR.

But really, this is a good thing. I now have tons more free time to write up tutorials. In fact, I have a huge 6 month backlog of projects yet to be documented. Expect a new tutorial every other week for the rest of the year! Exciting! And don't forget to subscribe to my SoR youtube account (http://www.youtube.com/societyofrobots), I got ~20 more videos soon to be uploaded.

Many more publications coming for the next 6+ months. I recently submitted a paper for review to a journal 2 weeks ago, and have another in the works.

Don't worry, I started TWO shipping centers last week. One in Virginia (US orders) and one in Louisiana (international/special orders). I even hired some people ;D

Well, I’ll need about a week to ‘orient’ myself . . . hehe I made a funny! Ok bad joke . . . I’ll be spending my time trying to learn the city and find an apartment. After I’m all settled down, I’ll be back 100%! Promise!
ps - Bangkok doesn't actually have any beaches :'(

My company has a building in Thailand and it is 15 hours ahead of us here on the West coast (Pacific Time).

Yea I was AWOL for a bit . . . had to do a Visa run and got stuck in 'what is the internet' land for longer than I planned. Like Laos and stuff . . .
Anyway, got new vids. This time involving pretty beaches and islands (like Krabi, dunk likes Krabi!). Also elephants and horses, canoeing, climbing this mountain. You know . . . oh and pretty girls and me speaking thai ;D

Just so everyone knows, I moved back to the US a week ago. Right now I'm mooching off my sister and her couch in Louisiana. ;D
Totally trashed her apartment with robot parts already . . .
My 6 months per year of allowed tourist visas ran out! I'll have to wait till winter to go back . . . or marry a local . . . :P
I took lots of videos so at some point I'll compile a special video on what its like to build robots in a 3rd world country. When I have time . . .
