TwoUp 3D Printer
« on: June 06, 2015, 09:42:17 PM »
Hey everyone, just coming on to post about the TwoUp 3D printer which I bought a little bit ago as a tool to have around the makerspace. I got the version with a heated bed so that I can print ABS and PLA. It was about $400 with 1 kg of extra filament. Took about 5-6 hours to put together with 1-2 people working. Been tweaking a lot of settings to get everything going smoothly. I'd just like to say it's a great printer for the cost but requires a good amount of work to get going. Going to be posting some more updates once I get more succesfull prints as well as some mods to improve its performance.

Has anyone had any experience with the QU-BD printers (OneUp, TwoUp, etc.)? Or any other similar ones? We bought this one because of its price and we wanted to learn more about it as we work on Hyperion related projects.

 8) Awesome!  8)
I have no idea, beyond the infomercials, about the 3 - D printers. I would enjoy seeing your
work, as I could learn through that!
