identifing old airplane servo

Hello,
       I have an old airplane servo that has (SERVO 80111 Cox/sanwa). I've tried controlling them using my analog servo controller, but no luck.  My guess is that there digital.  I've tried looking it up but no luck ether.

that servo uses a different connector than Hitec

you'll have to flip some of the wires


flip the wires and then try it out, my guess is that they are analog

thats probably explains why it got hot when i first connected it .  Ok, so i can just switch around the wires like a standard one.  Just out of curiosity, are the frequencies the same?  I'm at school right now and won't be able to check them out until 7:00 ish.

The frequencies should be the same but there are occasional surprise servos that catch you out.

My guess is that there digital.

Digital servos still take the same signals as analog servo's. Its just the internal electronics and motor driving that is digital

If you fried it , you can still use the geared motor inside it!

Try replacing the caps... these ICs aren't easily burned trust me...
