I would likt to connect a lazer range finder to a linear actuator, and be able to prest the position/distance. IE if the wall is 60 feet away, you can set it to return to that position when 60 feet distance is achieved again. This would hold true for all distance/position measurements programmed in.
Can this be done? I am sure it is possible, I just dont know where to start. Any help would be greatly apreciated, and thank you for acceptance into your forum.
