OV7670 on Arduino

Anyone have any experience on using the OV7670?
I have one hooked up to an Arduino and although I've tried using several sets of instructions, nothing seems to work.
I'd go into more detail but right now I'm too tired to think that hard.
I suspect that something in my circuit isn't hooked up quite right, then again, it could be something else.
One thing I've noticed is that none of the instructions I looked at seemed to address the communication speed, so I'm not sure what to set that at.
Any words of wisdom?
