Where to start?

Hello there im new. I would like to build a robot but ive got no idea where to start and what type to make. any sugestions.

Would a flying platform be a good starting point. If i used a blimp type craft that would take alot of processes out of the equation

start with the 50 dollar robot tutorial

that will teach you a lot of stuff that is needed in robotics


what are you building the robot for? for fun or for some application

flying robots should be later on in your robotics career , start with servo motors and wheels.
