The biblical creation is ex nihilo or out of nothing. So God blinked and boom matter existed. To add to Hawaii00000's statement I think God created the laws and the matter in the same instance. The Earth was void and formless at this point and then the rest of the 7 days begins.
In reality I think our understanding of science and physics in particular is really limited and we still have a LONG way to go. So get out there and discover more laws so we can say we knew you once
