quad spider design
« on: May 15, 2018, 07:53:30 AM »
Heres my new design for my quad spider.  the cylinders coming out of his joints are electric motors.
Im having self collision problems, but this one is better than the last one.
I should be able to roll the whole thing, except the perpendicular connections i was thinking to get started i could just lash them like a boy scout! :)

Made an important adjustment to stop more self collisions and it fattened the legs alot,  not sure what i think of it now.
the joint is so bloody complicated,   how did it get to this!?!?!?

Also, my friend gave me an idea,  put it together with plastic plumbers pipe and plastic weld it together,    I saw this guy make a mannequin using it and probably might be a good alternative.
