im making a battlebot and was just wondering where i wud hook up the weapons to, and how wud i program da remote so dat i press a button and the weapon turns on or moves? ;D

im not sure if this will work but try to get some rc gear and a remote and integrate that into your circuit.

The radio resever puts out a pulse and this is Cinda hard to convert to an analog signal your self so I would re cumend  getting a standard RC car or plane speed control, they are an easy way to convert the digital pules from the resever to an analog signal that you could use to power a solenoid or motor whatever your weapon system uses.

U dont have to buy a remote control if u have a remote controlled car (only if u wanna dismount it  :P) U can then easly take the IR reciver and move it over to your Battlebot. BUT: U must plug it right on your Battlebot, so i would suggest u take a look at the wireing before u take the pieces apart.
