Title: Can we make a bot from a traxxes battery rc car ?

Hello fellow robot makers i just started robotics a couple days ago and was wondering if we could get parts or even make an little robot from an traxxes rc car?

Sure.

Replace the RC receiver with a micro-controller, add some sensors and write code.

Go up to the SoR tutorials and read every thing there. Then many of your questions will find answers.

I did just that. It easily carries a netbook and electronics if you beef up the suspension. It's durable, inexpensive and has plentiful repair/upgrade parts.
