Axon power source

I got my axon in the mail today (hooray!) but I don't yet have a power source for it. I could either use some batteries, or I was thinking of using a DC adaptor that has been modified to have the proper connectors for the axon. Can I do that? I was thinking of using the adaptor shown on
http://a1parts.com/acadapters/index.htm
the model number I'm thinking of is: 68-650-1
Would that work?

Yeap, that'll work.
But keep in mind 500mA is just enough to power only one servo.
