I want to simulate a ground vehicle or a wheeled robot and later i want to add sonar (obstacle detection).
The whole process will need to be done in simulink envrionment there will be no hardware.
can any1 give me any idea/suggestion/help about it
P.S.:i am very new in this field.

Pretty big question.

Are you asking how to use Simulink? Or how to model individual components? How to do the math or how to translate it to Simulink blocks?

I have a couple generic Simulink videos and if that is at all helpful.
I get paid to play with robots - can't beat that with a stick.
