PIC capabilities?

I've never used a PIC microcontroller before, and I was curious about their capabilities.  Do they support timers or interrupts?  Do they have hardware based PWM?  What about an SCI interface? 

Just curious.  :)  I've pretty much used Motorola microcontrollers exclusively throughout school, so I havn't explored many other processors.
