Title: Roland Modela MDX-20 CNC machine - software recommendations?
Post by: abuse.bot on November 21, 2010, 07:44:37 AM
Hi All,

I'm keen to carve out some robot parts with my 3D printer (and scanner), however, I really need to find some easy-to-use software to help me with the cutting.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Chris.

What's wrong with Modela Player 4? It doesn't get any simpler than that.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, you might find my CNC write-up useful for this, btw ;-) http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/guerrilla_cnc1.shtml (http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/guerrilla_cnc1.shtml) and http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/guerrilla_cnc2.shtml.
