does anyone know a formula that i could use to figure how strong my servos are going to need to be?
i don't have the complete weight of my bot yet...but i'm just wondering how i go about making sure my servos are strong enough and quick enough for it...i'm using a three joint leg style for an octobot (hexabot but with 8 not 6 legs)

The motor calculator is here:

You can get info for the calc from your servo datasheet.

Kinda late, but I had this problem once and a nice guy helped me
So I want to help you too.
(No idea if it's ok to post links of another forum but I don't want to rewrite what he said)
