Hey guys I was trying to get to work on my first Bot, I'm having trouble finding gears of all things. I was wondering if there is a website you know of that I can just buy a box/bag of assorted gears. Obviously I would like them to be the same teeth size, but just a box/bag of assorted sizes.
Thanks,
Lefty

have you already bought the motor? if not, http://www.solarbotics.com/motors_accessories/gear_motors/ (http://www.solarbotics.com/motors_accessories/gear_motors/) is a good place for gear motors. if you have bought the motor, the best place i could find is http://www.legoeducation.us/store/default.aspx?CategoryID=162&pt=9&searchtype=0&by=9&sport=3&c=1&t=2&l=0 (http://www.legoeducation.us/store/default.aspx?CategoryID=162&pt=9&searchtype=0&by=9&sport=3&c=1&t=2&l=0)
Hope this helps,
Patrick

KidWind has a relatively large assortment of gears for a normal size motor.

Thanks for the help guys, I was surprised at how much Lego actually has, although I didn't know about the Lego Mindstorm, or brainstorm kits until recently. I checked out KidWind.org, and wasn't sure if that was what I was supposed to go to. I'm supprised at how difficult it is to just find a bag of assorted gears.
