« on: March 06, 2010, 06:23:33 PM »
Hi every one

well i want to upgrade to the latest version of avr studio as i am still on 4.13. However i cannot seem to find a way of un installing my current version. Does any one know how.

And i have been reading that for me to install  4.18 i first need to install 4.16. is this true or can i go straight to 4.18.

thanks alot for your help

Chances are, you have to install 4.16 as it contains some stuff you need.
All you do is download 4.16, install it, then download 4.18 and install it.
No uninstall needed.
Howdy

If for any odd reason you did need to uninstall it, just go to Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs.

Otherwise just overwrite it with the latest version, followed by any service packs.
