Hi
I am about to order parts for the $50 Robot Tutorial, I am using the UK parts list.
The ceramic capacitor is a bit confusing though, when I add the part using it's part number (08-0140) I will get a part which is named http://www.rapidonline.com/productinfo.aspx?catref=08-0140 (http://"100PF 2.54MM PITCH CERAMIC CAPACITOR RC" but when I search for the part's name ("100PF CERAMIC DISC CAPACITOR (RC)") I get a part named "100PF CERAMIC DISC CAPACITOR (RC) (http://www.rapidonline.com/productinfo.aspx?catref=08-1480)", so the question is, which one is the correct one, shall I use the part's number or the part's name?
Thanks

Either link will do, just make sure you get the one that is 100pf not 1pf.

Hi,
"100PF 2.54MM PITCH CERAMIC CAPACITOR RC"
"100pF" is the value
"2.54mm pitch" is the center distance of the leads (1/10"), which is also called "one module" - it's the distance between two neighboring holes in a Vero board.
