Hi,
I want to build an electric vehicle that can travel a preset (but changeable) distance. Essentially, I need a way to input a distance and have the vehicle travel that far. I'm thinking of using a stepper motor, but have never built anything like this before. Where is a good place to buy a stepper motor, and is it the best option? Also, any tips on how to input the distance? Thanks ahead of time!
