Ha. youre lucky I saw those on sparkfun and hunted around for them. trust me, it took some digging.

http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=516200

product no. 516200

It has a locking ramp, there is a 1 pos molex connector out there with no ramp but it didnt pop up when I searched jameco.

I saved this PDF to save me some heartache in the future.

Bukowski, you are a life saver!  ;D You must be pretty good at wading through catalogs!  I spent quite an amount of time, but couldn't find this part. Thank you!

It is quite sad that there isn't one standard way to connect cables.  The only standard way I guess is soldering!  People who migrate from the lego nxt world to the world of robotics/electornics are in for a rude shock! :D

Hello,
I ordered this and found out that that wasn't the one.  What I received was much larger that what's pictured in this thread.  Anyone know the Jameco part number?

Wow, really? According to the Molex datasheet / dim dwgs, part no. 0022012011 (the one w/ no locking ramp) is .190" tall and .122" wide... which seems about right...  Sorry :-\

Thanks Krich!  Don't beat yourself bukowski.  I know how hard it is to tell from just looking at a catalog if that is indeed the part we want.  And with so many types of connectors it is easy to make a mistake.

For one pin molex, I just crimp on the metal part to the wire, then heat shrink it.
