Title: Cheap RC Transmitter and Receiver Testing Platform

I am looking for a cheap radio controlled transmitter and receiver that I can hook up to my Sabertooth 2x60 as a means for testing the locomotion and driving capabilities of my robot. Plug and play would be ideal so I don't have to tinker. I'd be willing to spend up to $100 for both the receiver and transmitter

Eventually, this will be 4g controlled. But I'm running low on time and I need to get footage of drivetrain testing. Let me know if you have any products in mind.

Or online stores?
How soon do you need it? The lowest cost will be ordering from China but shipping can take weeks.

Does the Sabertooth accept RC pulses (1 to 2 ms) for control inputs?
If so then an RC receiver will plug directly into the Sabertooth.
How many channels do you require?

The Sabertooth R/C input mode takes two standard R/C channels

It doesn't specifically say that it accepts a 1 to 2 ms pulse, but I would assume so

I've used HobbyPartz, but only for servos and batteries, so I don't know their transmitters. I've also found a1main hobbies to have reasonable gear in stock at reasonable prices. Both of these can ship from the US, using US Priority or UPS 3-day.

The spektrum dx5 might be a good option
