Hey guys i want to make a freeduino based robot which can detect the voice so what type of sensor should i use ?

Depends on whether you just want to detect the presence of sound/noise (ie a microphone and small pre-amp) or whether you want voice recorgnition (lots of 3rd party hardware out there).

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
