Asimo's Hip

(Hello, I am new) Does anyone here recognize what type of hip joint is on Honda's Asimo? It looks like a ball-socket joint of sorts. I also need to know how it works, seeing how the power supply is on the back and not on the legs.

Hello!
The hip joint must be a secret, because I have tried to find out myself!
I know that it is very expensive. I think the power supply on the back, is for
counterweight to help balance the body throughout movement.

I tried looking at the history of the asimo to see the less covered version of the joint, but it proved useless in seeing the details. This joint is also seen on a QRIO bots.
