My coworkers got a wowwee dragonfly shipped from california and let me borrow it for a few days to try out.

Its actually very hard to fly and took me a long time to get 'ok' with it. Even harder with unpredictable wind and/or confined spaces . . . I think I've clocked about 4 hours now flying it, and Im just good enough to sort of get it to go where I want and not crash.
Other thoughts . . . the thing is very very durable - Ive crash landed it a billion times and nothing has broken yet. And if I do break it, it comes with an extra set of carbon fiber wings and tail blade for replacement.
It doesnt really support much weight though, it just barely stays in the air and works best aimed towards the wind. It also doesnt produce much forward thrust, so with a light wind it just flies backwards . . .
Battery life (lithium battery) is about 7 minutes while charging time is about 20 minutes (not bad!). The remote (which requires 6 AA batteries) acts as a charger for it so you can recharge out in the field.
