I drew circuits!
« on: April 29, 2009, 08:50:24 AM »
Hi guys. I'm creating a 2.5 kg sumo bot. I'll be using 4x1A, 12V dc motors using 12V power supply. The robot will be of differential drive without speed controls. I'm a mechanical engg student and don't have very good knowledge in electronics. I've drawn some circuits shows below (My very first circuits). Please check them and suggest values for the components missing values.
PS. Will something explode if i press more than two buttons?

Ok.... what is the connection between the diagrams?

First one is transmittter
D1 in Reciever goes to L1 in controller
D2 in Reciever goes to L2 in controller
D3 in Reciever goes to L3 in controller
D4 in Reciever goes to L4 in controller
E1-2 and E3-4 in controller are enable pins and are connedcted to Vcc.

D5,D6,D7,D8 are left open. I created a 8 channel remote control so I can use the same circuit with other robots which may require more than 4 channels.

BTW could you show me how to Draw L298 in eagle?
