Title: 24 volt Battery ( AUSTRALIA )

Hi

I been searching for a 24 volt battery with 4000 mah  or more  NiMH or NiCd .
Does any one know where to get this in Australia or Victoria. As most of the batteries overseas the postage costs more than the actually battery  :-[  .

Any help advice would be greatly appreciated

Can you get 12V or 8V or 6V NiCad/NiMH battery packs? (a NiCad/NiMH have a nominal 1.2V per cell)
Then just connect several in series.

Or buy cells and build your own pack.
