Title: Need help about Servo motor
Post by: Daniel on December 17, 2010, 03:00:53 AM
I am trying to understand how servo motor works before constructing a robot.

http://www.semifluid.com/?p=25 (http://www.semifluid.com/?p=25)

I read through the link above about servo motor. However, I found that the explanation for 'Source and Firmware' part is too brief. Can anyone please explain more for that part. What software that I need? Besides, I don't see any user interface that can control the servo manually. May I know about the user interface that will be used to control. Is it I need to write the code for user interface part?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Here's a couple of pages that would be better to read:
http://www.seattlerobotics.org/guide/servos.html (http://www.seattlerobotics.org/guide/servos.html)
and http://www.horrorseek.com/home/halloween/wolfstone/Motors/svoint_RCServos.html (http://www.horrorseek.com/home/halloween/wolfstone/Motors/svoint_RCServos.html)

Also, use Google for such kinds of questions, before asking here please.
