ok the hsomethingD is an H-bridge male header pins are just pins. used to hold something in place. the size of the photoresistor doesnt matter too much. i think the l.e.d should be fine... the capasatator i dont think it will matter but im not sure. and that thing is a preset you do need one! a trimmer probibly wont work!!hope it helped.
couldnt you just get it shipped out? i got mine from thailand for 45c im in australia. theyre like 2cm by 1cm
You can replace the L293D in the circuit with a high power NPN transistor for black line following or a high power PNP transistor for black line following.Common high power NPN transistors are 2N2222, SL100 and D880. If you are using transistors in place of L293D, slight modification of the circuit, as shown below, is requiredBut by using transistors you can only build a line follower.
If you are using the circuit given in my previous reply, you do not need any header pins.
