Axon PWM Pulse
« on: July 18, 2011, 08:45:12 PM »
Im working on hacking a roomba H bridge. Im wiring the axon to the h bridge to make it so it could send a signal to the transistor switch on the board. My question it what would be the best way to set this up? I know there are four connections 2 per side. One being forward one being backward. But how would i program the axon on to do this? Thanks

I'm sure webbotlib has some documentation on PWM.  Try to look for it on that site maybe?  Google webbotlib, you'll find it.

Personally I'd just look at the data sheet for the MCU on the Axon and look up timer1 or 2 or whichever one has PWM and do it that way.  It's just a few registers. ;)

I'd strongly recommend buying a motor driver as opposed to making your own h-bridge. ;D

That said, WebbotLib can help you with programming the digital I/O (see manual). It's really easy to set up using Project Designer, and it will generate working example code for you to use.
