Thats not quite what I said. The bare bones $50 board is: one IC, one regulator, one capacitor and whole load of header pins. There's only so many ways you can put it together!
Not being rude about the $50 design - just a testament that it is sooooo simple - ie it fulfills its design requirement as a noob board.
It's hard to know what to add. Airman did a great job with the Roboduino to produce a board filled out with extra interfacing/loader features etc
So I wish you well - but I think you have an uphill ride to come up with 'yet another' beginner board. You will probably spend $1000s in the prototype iteration phase with your manufacturer (standards like rohs for example?). So what added value will your board bring on top of say: a homemade $50 board, a Roboduino? If it costs near $100 then I'd be better buying an Axon. My confidence was dented when you were asking other people for Eagle designs for 'your' board !!
