Title: Progress in nylon muscle development
Post by: jasonhead on April 04, 2015, 04:29:24 PM
I made some progress with developing nylon muscles, and learned some useful things:

I have a general idea for a better more comprehensive coiling rig.
I think I'll look into electro-magnet coil winding to see if I can get some good ideas.

 8) cool!
I had just thought of an idea, borrowed from the cyclone piston;
Would it be possible to take Nitrinol, and attach micropulleys to it, then put
that in a member of a finger? The micropulleys would amplify the pull of the
Nitrinol. Do not know if that is possible, but is definitely in a different direction!  ;D
