Does Anybody Know The Correct Name Of This?
« on: February 06, 2010, 06:07:25 PM »
So, yesterday i was building my dream pc, i had plugged everything in, wired everything up etc...
I went to turn it on and nothing! Just a couple of led flashes on the mobo.
Eventually after i decided to take it out of the giant ass gaming case and bench test it i found out the problem was
the square 12v connector from the psu was about an inch too short to reach across the case to the other side of the mobo.
So does anyone know the correct name of this connector? Everytime i put "4 pin molex psu connector" into a search engine all i get is
the 4x1 power connectors.
Yeah, that's the one i want!

Its just called a "4 pin ATX 12V power connector". You need a "4 pin ATX power cable extension"

The 1x4 are "4 pin peripheral power connectors"
