Japanese Sumo robot contest

Even the Sumo robots are more advanced in Japan :D

I love those matador robots, those with flags to trick the enemy (especially in the slowmotion scene at the end)

Never seen faster robots. Nor so violent sumo contest  :o They litterately fly over the ring.
I wonder how much time their battery last ^^ Could be a strategy : low energy consommation and make your robot run fast around the ring ( say 50 times) then attack the opponent wich at this time would have no power left :P
May the Achtuche be with you...

Wow those guys are pretty darn fast, but I've seen some sumo wrestlers be incredibly quick too.

For some odd reason I was expecting to see some of the robots throw salt in the ring.
