I mean seriously, the video is cool!  For $39 bucks I get
8 servos (atleast I think)
1 7v rechargable battery
1 charger
Radio controlled remote
Bug shell
And other electronic goodies inside

If I were to purchase these separately, it would easily cost more than $39?

There's no effing way you'll get 8 servos with RC and a shooting mechanism for 39 bucks.
It might have a different moving/steering mechanism, though.

edit: but if you do, let me know where i can find one :D

I think there are no servos in that thing.
The gripper and the gun are probably controlled with two regular motors (just like servo's but without the feedback)
And the left and right side of legs are probably driven by two motors, and a mechanical system that makes the legs move like that...

Atleast, that what I think...  :)

it's almost impossible to find toys with servos, I bet they are just motors.....
