hi guys!
(PS:pls dont bash me.)
just wanted to share with u guys. me and my friends just built an basic line follower without an microcontroller using just a few IC's. I know it luks very bad in design and shape. but its just the first time and planning it to make more effective in the near future :) ur experienced comments and suggestions are very much appreciated:)

that's pretty dang good. ;D What ICs did you use?
-
two comparators and a motor driver!!!
Still.... suit it up and it would be a very very sweet robot
-
hey thnx guys! ;D
and i used a 7404 & 7408 comparators and ULN 2003 motor driver IC.

nice bot, how long did it take you to make it, is it your first bot
-
Good job, im trying to do something like that, yours was good

thnx man!Yeah this was my first bot!
it took about 4 hrs.

:o what! is that all, designing, manufacturing parts and assembling the circuit? is that all?

Impossible!
-
Impossible!
not really... you could if you were good and you had the parts lying around... quite easily...
and you just used a cardboard piece for the chassis etc...
-
Yes..but you talked about designing and manufacturing parts..that's what is impossible.

Yes..but you talked about designing and manufacturing parts..that's what is impossible.
designing and manufacturing parts can just be drawing on some cardboard and cutting it out with scissors...
-
well , u never said "conditions apply"...but yes...then it's possible! have to admit!
-
Most possible.... to tell you the truth....
I nearly know any pin on MEGA16/32 etc etc etc so I can develop an board in less than 4 hours....
A non micro circuit which is like 3 ICs isn't so hard after all....

Well man..I actually bought all the components like the motors and IC's previously. The chassis was made of aluminum which was lying around my house. So It didn't take that much long once i built the circuit.

well done dude, Can u please post circuit diagram of your robot's electronics ? I really like this & wanted to build it. pleeeeeease
