Title: Soldering capcitor with 4.8v battery pack
Post by: Melcin Powell on February 04, 2011, 03:13:16 PM
I had an earlier post about this but that was a while ago so sorry for double posting, but anyways i was wondering if i keep the connection for the three pin male header and the capacitor or just the power bus and the positive lead of the capacitor are connected?

Is that the $50 robot board?
If it's a large capacitor meant to help with brown outs then just solder it across the +ve and -ve supply lines on your board (repecting polarity). Soldering it to the bottom of the board where the battery connects to will be sufficient.
