Interfacing PS2 Controller with AVR

Hello , i want an easy library for PS2 to use it with AVR microcontroller
I used Arduino but it was damaged  :-\

 I think someone has already interfaced a PS2 to a CNC machine, somewhere in the forum. The
Axon has a great library with dependable functions; for me, I just need to know HOW to program it.  :o
Still working on it.  ;D
