Blackfin Camera Problems
« on: March 29, 2011, 03:00:15 PM »
Right now,

I have purchased the Blackfin camera, expansion module and the pan/tilt-head for the camera. Just two questions:

in order to power servo components, is there anything I can use other than the SRV-1 RCM Expansion Board? I'm just going to need to power something to pivot the camera, and a controller that would activate a laser and cell-phone vibrator. Is there perhaps a cheaper alternative?

Also, how would one connect the camera/expansion module to a computer to transfer code?

They have two break-out boards (one with access to power) that may be just what you need for this.

You read the manual and if you have specific questions (after a second read through), you ask - with a description of what you tried, what worked or not and so on.

Søren

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
Engineering is based on numbers - not adjectives

I will take another glance at the manual. Thank you.

Edit: Never mind my question.
