Title: What kind of robot should I build?
Post by: collegefan77 on May 20, 2010, 10:31:05 PM
My first robot.

If I get a robot kit and I program the system what would you make the robot's purpose be?

I know it should be simple, I was thinking a moving fan operated via remote control.

What do you think?

Oh yeah also what kit you think I should purchase? I've heard of the Lego Mindstorm & the Parallax Boe-Bot but I need something that costs a little less and you can buy at a store (offline)

If you find a kit and it's not for sale at an offline store then please tell me anyways. Thanks  ;D

Besides mindstorms, you will not be able to find another decent robot kit in stores. Sorry  :-\  Robotics is not a big commercial hobby.

I would build a really fast robot that could go ~20 mph.
