So I was checking out Seeed Studio's new line of products that have come out this month (april), and noticed that they now carry one model of IR rangefinders (10-80cm version).
Looking at the picture they provided, and the range of the device, it looked to me like the SHARP GP2D12 IR rangefinder. So I looked at their
wiki page on the device. It turns out it is a SHARP GP2D12; cool.
Anyways, I happen to notice a picture (second one down), that looks to be an exact copy of the picture on
this SOR page. The wiki page for the new seeed studio product still needs to be worked on (they even say so on the product page). If the picture is indeed originally from SOR, maybe admin can add a link in the external resources section on the wiki page...
Might drive some more traffic to SOR, you never know...cuz' some people actually reference the external links on wiki pages
