motors from an rc car

this toy car is one of those "Xmods" and they come with a pack of these neat little motors all with different characteristics. suppose i bought more of these motors...since they belong to an RC car will they work instead in the 50$ robot. keep in mind i just got into this maybe a week ago.

i don't think so since they run about 10k rpm, and have no torque. also the code to control them will be diferent.
servo's are great when it comes to stuff like this, cause they already have a feedback system.

when designing the $50 robot I considered using DC motors with a motor driver. the price was lower, but the level of complexity was much much higher . . . plus i have no plans to support dc motors for the $50 robot . . . i highly recommend servos
