This is the robot I'm making. But the problem is that the 14-pin MCU (PIC 16F616 is out of stock here in India. And i didnt manage to find the QRB1113 Sensors as well.....
and the ultrasonic sensors i bought didnt come with any manual.....they're just too bulbous looking things.....
where am i supposed to go from here....
please help me out....
-
You can write a new program for a different microcontroller.
Can you provide a link or a picture of the ultrasonic sensors?
-
Hi,
Why are you nervous?
-
lol is tat relevant?

check out tis MCU
i decided to buy it online...but there are different types.....

I/P, E/P, E/ML, I/ML, I/SL, E/SL, E/ST
inshort....this is the first time im using an MCU......wich one do i need to buy?
-
You'll just need to stick with I/P.
-
why are all your questions *urgent* when there standard questions? :P :P :P

CUZ IM COORDINATOR FOR THE ROBOTICS EVENTS AT MY COLLEGE, BUT I CANT ENTER EM
IM PLANNING TO ASK MY FRIENDS FROM OTHER COLLEGES TO COME AND WIN WITH THE BOTS WE'VE MADE TOGETHR....SO THAT WE'LL GET ALL THE PRIZE MONEY
-
heres the picture u asked for
pls temme wat to do wid em...i dont hav ne clue of how to set up an interface...
-
search around for an ultrasonic sensor schematic...
there is one thats going around that needs a 555 timer...
i was looking at it yesterday... i was thinking of getting a pair of those things too ;D
-
can u please send me a link or somethin?
i need a circuit to interface the sensors with my MCU and the servos....
-
well, there is http://www.hexamite.com/he240txrx.htm (http://www.hexamite.com/he240txrx.htm) which is the basic idea... but then you will have to code it..
first figure out the speed of sound, then you will be able to find out how close objects are with an equation.
-
i dont need a sensor....i already have the ultrasonic sensor, i need a suitable circuit to interface it with...
-
that is a circuit... but your mcu will have to do the equations to figure out the distance to any objects...
-
lol....i need to make the circuit?
is an ready made one available? im indian, currency rate wid USD is
45rs. =1 dollar
-
yes, you will have to make the circuit.
if you want a premade circuit, why not just buy the sonar sensor? will it really be that much more?
-
yeah....it costs a lot more online.....i got just those sensors u see in the pic for cheap, they're not available in a ready made module in shops here....the ones that are available online are costly...
