Jaco arm problem on ubuntu
« on: November 12, 2014, 11:26:26 AM »
Hello,

I have encountered a problem while attempting to connect a Jaco robotic arm to my Ubuntu system via USB. The system doesn't detect anything when i use the lsusb command. The arm itself uses the libusb drivers which I have installed successfully, also the API seems to be installed correctly.

At this point I really have no idea what could be going wrong, I've tried all the USB ports on my system with no results. Maybe some of you have ideas as to what could be the problem.

Try unplugging the device. Typing "dmesg". Plugging the device back in. And type "dmesg" again to see the what happens when you insert the device.
