Post by: robotboy on March 30, 2008, 05:08:27 PM
Hi I'm Very new to this but i want to build the 50$ Robot and i have a question about when you soldering on the prototyping board as shown herehttp://www.societyofrobots.com/images/sbs_connect1_large.JPG (http://www.societyofrobots.com/images/sbs_connect1_large.JPG)
I don't understand where the solder is supposed to be touching and were its not?
Also when it gets to the point of thishttp://www.societyofrobots.com/images/sbs_connect3_large.JPG (http://www.societyofrobots.com/images/sbs_connect3_large.JPG)
I cant tell what is supposed to be solderd together and whats not?

there is actually this schematic you can use to do your robot electronics,i found it a lot easier
http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=3292.msg25198#msg25198 (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=3292.msg25198#msg25198) click on the PDF file and it will show you the schematic(its not the colored dot one,or the lines one),in regards to you question i think its the red means a connection and the blue means a soldering joint or voltage or something like that.
