Title: augmented reality: projecting info at what you see
Post by: Admin on March 10, 2009, 08:55:17 PM
Unlike the other augmented reality (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=7148.0) that requires a video screen or goggles of some sort, this one comes with a portable projector.

Wow! :o  that thing could have so many uses! they mentioned that it transmits data via your cellphone, or something like that...imagine being able to download a project saved on your home desktop via this tool and work on it whenever and wherever you can...it could be used in so many ways...wow.....

Sounds absolutely horrifying to me!  ;)

But it does look like it could be a lot of fun too! At first I thought she was just wearing one of those USB keys around her neck, didn't even notice it! If that's the prototype, then this has serious promise of being out on shelves relatively soon! Good find!
